Due to supply chain disruptions associated with the global pandemic and in the interest of manufacturers servicing an increased demand for sanitary paper products, UL will temporarily suspend recycled content requirements found in section 6.6 of UL 175, the Standard for Sustainability for Sanitary Paper Products, until June 30, 2020. UL will remain in direct contact with manufacturers producing certified paper products to monitor the availability of recycled content to be used for the benefit of manufacturing of sanitary paper certified to UL 175.
